GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Alachua County Library District cardholders can now try an extra 100 WiFi hotspots following a donation from a basis supporting the district.
Beginning Tuesday, the WiFi2Go models can be found due to a donation from the Alachua County Library District Basis.
The district launched the hotspot assortment in April 2021 after an preliminary donation of $36,000. In June, the muse’s board voted to donate one other $36,000 for extra hotspots.

Cardholders can try the hotspots for seven days and join as much as 5 units to the web. There aren’t any knowledge limits or charges.
“We’re thrilled to broaden this necessary service and grateful for the Basis’s help,” stated Library Director Shaney T. Livingston. “The WiFi2Go program is a large success, and these further hotspots will permit us to attach much more patrons with dependable web entry.”
Alachua County library cardholders can reserve common (non-Sizzler) hotspots utilizing the web catalog by trying to find “WiFi2Go” or by calling any department.
