MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The ballroom of a Madison lodge reworked right into a seashore pleasant ambiance Friday for folks to come back and donate blood.

The American Crimson Cross and Audacy Madison held the 22nd Seashore Days Blood Drive from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday on the Sheraton Lodge on John Nolen Drive.

The American Crimson Cross famous that blood donations usually fall through the Fourth of July, however blood and platelet transfusions are at all times in demand.

Government Director for the American Crimson Cross of Wisconsin Southwest Chapter Kyle Kriegl thanked volunteers, saying their donations assist save lives.

“If you’re wholesome, feeling properly and eligible to present, please schedule an appointment to present now,” Kriegl stated. “You by no means know while you or a liked one would be the one in want. I urge anybody who is ready to donate to take an hour out of their day and provides again.”

Donors obtained a Crimson Cross recycled cotton tote bag, a $10 present card and picnic-style meals.
