Nashik: The nationalized and district cooperative banks have disbursed 47% crop loans to farmers to this point in 5 divisions of Nashik division for the present kharif season.
In accordance with cooperative division officers, the banks have set a goal of disbursing Rs 10,119 crore crop loans in 5 districts of the division. Crop loans amounting to Rs 4,801 crore have been disbursed to farmers which quantities to 47% of the full goal.
Round 5.91 lakh farmers with 4.58 lakh hectares beneath cultivation have availed crop loans within the division.
For Nashik district, the goal for disbursement of Rs 2,947 crore crop loans have been set. Banks have disbursed Rs 1,221.43 crore to the farmers which quantities to 41% of the full crop mortgage disbursement goal. The banks have set disbursement goal of Rs 4,141 crore for Ahmednagar. Of this, crop loans of Rs 2,330 crore have been disbursed.
