SELINSGROVE —  Eight new low-interest loans had been accepted by the Pennsylvania Industrial Growth Authority (PIDA) to help enterprise development in six counties, together with Snyder County. 

So far in 2022, PIDA has accepted $27,600,519 in low-interest loans which have resulted in $58,677,680 in personal funding and supported 767 created and retained full-time jobs. Since 2015, PIDA has accepted $389,478,796 in low-interest loans which have resulted in $786,658,849 in personal funding and supported 15,532 created and retained full-time jobs.

Penn Dairy, LLC, by the SEDA-Council of Governments was accepted for a 15-year $400,000 mortgage at a 2.5 % reset rate of interest to assemble a 9,260-square-foot addition to its current 27,167-square-foot meals manufacturing facility at 7199 County Line Highway in Jackson Township, Snyder County. The whole venture price is $880,000 and the corporate has dedicated to creating six new, full-time jobs and retaining 28 positions inside three years.
