dropped round 0.3% every within the late session Tuesday following information that the U.S. Military has grounded its complete fleet of Chinook helicopters as a result of danger of engine fires out of an “abundance of warning,” The Wall Road Journal reported. Military officers mentioned they know of some engine fires involving the helicopters, leading to no accidents or deaths. The plane are Boeing-made with Honeywell-made engines, in response to the report. In an e mail, Honeywell mentioned non-Honeywell O-rings not assembly its specs had been put in in some engines throughout routine upkeep. Honeywell mentioned the suspect O-rings have been recognized and remoted, and the corporate is working with the Military to produce substitute elements that meet its specs. Boeing declined to remark, saying it was referring inquiries to the Military.
