The Connecticut Solar introduced their continued involvement in Brittney Griner’s Coronary heart and Sole Shoe Drive on Monday.

Griner, a star for the Phoenix Mercury, has been detained in Russia since Feb. 17. Groups throughout the WNBA have been carrying on her work locally by way of the shoe drive, which Griner began in 2016 to supply footwear to the homeless in Arizona.
