A former finance officer of a non-profit group in Bridgewater was accused of stealing over $75,000 from the group throughout her time there, authorities mentioned.

The non-profit, which was not recognized, seen the discrepancy shortly after the finance officer, 55-year-old Bridgewater resident Jolee Roberts, was terminated and the matter was referred to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Workplace, in response to a press release from the workplace.

An investigation by the workplace and the the Bridgewater Township Police Division alleged Roberts cashed quite a few checks and utilized bank cards issued to the group for unauthorized purchases in extra of $75,000 throughout a two-year interval whereas employed there, officers mentioned.
