JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – A particular challenge in Northeast Arkansas is a step nearer to getting approval.

On Tuesday, Aug. 30, the Jonesboro Public Providers Council Committee moved a decision to the complete council, by which the town would settle for a land donation of about 24 acres in reminiscence of Beatrice Lynch Sloan.

In response to the assembly agenda, the property could be positioned close to 3255 Strawfloor Drive and could be named Beatrice Park, full with entry signage purchased with funds from the Parks Division.

The donation would come from B & G Land Firm, based on the agenda.
