A member of the far-right Oath Keepers militia introduced explosives to Washington, D.C. forward of the Jan. 6 lethal revolt, in response to courtroom paperwork from the Justice Division.

Driving the information: The DOJ stated that the federal government seized explosives from Jeremy Brown, an Oath Keeper member from Florida, together with “navy ordinance grenades” in his automobile.

Particulars: DOJ prosecutors plan to current this within the September trial of a number of Oath Keepers. Brown isn’t a part of that trial.

• An indictment amended this week says that “Rhodes and sure conspirators … coordinated journey throughout the nation to enter Washington, D.C., geared up themselves with a wide range of weapons, donned fight and tactical gear, and had been ready to reply Rhodes’ name to take up arms at Rhodes’ course.”
