The Hamden Police Division is investigating a theft on the Connex Credit score Union on Wednesday afternoon.

Hamden officers responded to a reported theft on the Connex Credit score Union on Dixwell Avenue round 12:45 p.m. Based on police, the suspect entered the credit score union and handed a notice to the teller demanding cash.

The suspect was described by police as a girl who was between 5 toes three and 5 toes 5 with a darkish complexion. She was sporting a blue hoodie and surgical masks, police stated.

No weapons have been displayed and nobody was injured, police stated. The lady fled with an undisclosed sum of money, in accordance with police.

Detectives from the Hamden Police Division’s Main Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are main the investigation and are following up on a number of leads, police stated.
