LOGAN, Utah – Utah State’s Kylee Stokes has been named the America First Credit score Union USU Pupil-Athlete of the Week for the interval ending on Sunday, Aug. 28. The award is voted on by a state-wide media panel.

Stokes helped Utah State begin off the season 2-Zero as USU defeated No. 12 UCLA 3-1 (27-25, 29-27, 22-25, 25-19) and Cal Poly 3-1 (25-20, 27-25, 20-25, 27-25) on the Utah State Invitational. The victory over the Bruins marked the Aggies’ first win over a ranked opponent since Utah State’s 3-Zero victory over No. Three Hawai’i to win the WAC Event Championship on Nov. 24, 2010.
