CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – Town finance director introduced he’s resigning later this month.
Dustin Ziebold tells us he’s resigning his place as town’s finance director later, efficient September 23.
He mentioned in an announcement he’s pursuing a brand new alternative he couldn’t cross up.
“I will likely be stepping down because the Director of Finance for the Metropolis of Cape Girardeau on 9/23/2022. I’ve accepted a possibility that each professionally and personally is one thing that I can’t cross up. Due to this fact I’ve made the robust choice to pursue this chance. I want to thank the Metropolis of Cape Girardeau and its residents for the chance to serve them throughout my time as Director of Finance.”
Town employed Ziebold in September 2020.
Throughout his tenure, Metropolis Supervisor Kenny Haskin mentioned Ziebold helped create the managed deer hunt and refinanced a number of money owed which saved town greater than $1 million.
