A lethal crash in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood Thursday morning has prompted a big police presence and site visitors impacts.

Officers are investigating after an individual was hit by a car within the Jackson Sq. space, the Boston Police Division stated. The car remained on scene.

Authorities stated earlier within the morning that automobiles and buses are being rerouted within the space because the investigation continues. The MBTA has since stated that shuttle buses are again to common routes, regardless of the intersection remaining shut.

An NBC10 Boston crew noticed a substantial police presence on the scene of the crash. Police have not but confirmed extra details about the circumstances surrounding the crash.
