ROCKFORD (WREX) — An area church receives a beneficiant donation from two organizations in the neighborhood for all of the onerous work they do to enhance Rockford.

The Exhausting Rock On line casino donated $5,000 to Mount Zion Baptist church and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Workplace matched their donation for a complete of $10,000.

The church will use the cash for numerous applications and outreach initiatives they’ve deliberate. 

“We’re grateful, grateful that each Exhausting Rock and Sherriff Caruana say that we had been doing work in the neighborhood and needed to accomplice with us,” says Pastor Marvin HIghtower.

“So it makes us really feel good that folks exterior of our neighborhood are actually trying and seeing the work being achieved.”

The church’s again to highschool program kicks off October 1 and shall be supported by the donation.
