NEW DELHI: A number of shares plunged in extra of 5 per cent in Mumbai buying and selling on Thursday at the same time as fairness benchmark BSE Sensex traded 386.75 factors down at 59150.32 amid brisk promoting in frontline bluechip counters.

Ltd.(down 10.41 per cent), Chothani Meals(down 10.00 per cent), S M Gold(down 9.99 per cent) and P G Business(down 8.70 per cent) had been among the many shares that plunged over 5 per cent through the session.

Within the Nifty pack, 19 shares traded within the inexperienced, whereas 31 shares traded within the purple.

The Nifty index was buying and selling 106.85 factors down at 17652.45.
